I'm originally from California, but I've lived in many different countries around the world, including Germany and Austria... and I absolutely LOVE German sausages. I moved to New Zealand about seven years ago and have been utterly disappointed with Kiwi sausages (well, much worse than that; but you understand!). I don't know how an entire nation can go so wrong on sausage making... but I think the gold medal goes to NZ for the world's worst sausage producing country! Actually, I'd given up; I literally stopped buying sausages about three years ago. Then, yesterday, I was in Papamoa (I live in Matamata) for the day, and visited your shop in Fashion Island. I ordered the Landjaeger, the Nuernberger bratwurst and the smoked bratwurst. The Landjaeger didn't even make it back to the car; I slowly savoured it as I walked around the shops. As for the Nuernberger bratwurst, I had that with some eggs for breakfast this morning; WOW!! Ausgezeichnet!! I've yet to try the smoked bratwurst, but you can guess what's for dinner tonight, right? I have every confidence that it too will rock my taste buds right back to Germany!
Thank you so very, very much for saving NZ from those dreadful mutton bowel-bull-crud things Kiwis have the nerve to call sausages! As for me; I'm an instant fan of your products and I've only had two of them. I look so forward to trying the rest!
